Web Designer– 6 month contract position September 2008-Present
- Designing web pages and creating prototypes for Capital One Bank’s online banking services. Sole developer responsible for extensive and advanced use of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS in designing and developing demo’s and large commercial product prototypes which number in the 100′s of pages and tens of thousands of lines of code.

Web GUI Developer– 3 month contract position 2008-August 2008
- Developed a new web based product in 3 months for part of their Legal Software Suite. Developed the GUI front end using the JavaScript Dojo framework and HTML. Developed AJAX and Java objects to retrieve data from SQL Servers.
- Was sole developer responsible for updating SEC Filings & Forms (EDGAR) software written in ASP and JavaScript doing database access using ODBC.

Application Architect– Senior Team Lead and Designer 1996-2007
- My major accomplishments include the Development of an Intranet CRM application which supported over half a million customers. I managed and developed everything from GUI design to server side database access using: Java, JSP, JavaScript, CSS and HTML on a TOMCAT web server using Oracle SQL for database storage and retrieval.
- Another major accomplishment was the development of the internal user interface screens utilized by the data center for all its day to day operations. I managed all phases, including working with the clients to develop requirements, presenting initial functional designs for review, to product development and delivery. I used JSP in a TOMCAT environment and Oracle SQL for the database access.
- I developed advanced web screen widgets and tools for use in web pages. Providing this Financial Services organization with a professional look and feel for internal and external customers.
Manager – Manager of the Merchant Systems 1988-1996
- Managed a team of 30 development programmers.
- Responsible for all aspects of Invoicing, Billing, Accounting Systems and Negative Data exchange
- Developed and brought online a new Invoice system for the entire company
- Developed and brought online Christmas Retail Statistics system used by TeleCheck to give day by day information to major news media outlets on the health of the Christmas Shopping season.
Programmer 1985-1988
- Vax/Vms Window E-mail Client – Analyzed / Designed and Developed an e-mail reader for VAX/VMS to allow reading of e-mail through a windows-like interface on a vt220 “dumb” terminal.
- TeleCheck’s Retail Index Statistics – Original designer of TeleCheck’s retail statistics. This is the information that is released to the press on holiday consumer spending.
